Experience of using Regidratonik in the treatment of early toxemia of pregnancy
The vomiting is the most serious and common form of early toxemia of pregnancy. Vomiting in early pregnancy occurs in 40-60% of women.
Clinical manifestations of vomiting requiring special treatment occur in 15-18% of pregnant women, severe form in 0.5% of women. Study of the pathogenesis of vomiting showed that the disease is accompanied by a variety of disorders of homeostasis in pregnancy. The correction of fluid and electrolyte balance (oral or parenteral route)is necessary at any rate early toxemiaof pregnant.
The purpose of the study conducted at the National Research Institute of the Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Ministry of health of Uzbekistan was to investigate clinical efficacy of crystalloid drug Regidratonik ("Jurabek laboratories", Uzbekistan) on volemic and metabolic disorders in women with early toxemia.
69 women were surveyed prospectively to solve the purpose. The main group (II) comprised 33 women with early toxemia (vomiting pregnant medium-heavy and severe). The control group (I) included 36 patients with early toxemia (vomiting pregnancy medium-heavy and severe).
Conclusions:
1. Dehydration and ketoacidosis were expressed in patients with early severe toxemia (excessive vomiting).
2. Infusion therapyhelped fill the extracellular space and the elimination of hypovolemia, depending on the degree of dehydration of crystalloid and colloid solutions.
3. Involvement of Regidratonik to the infusion program (15 - 20 ml / kg) contributed to a more rapid liquidation deficit OVNZH, had no significant effect on plasma osmolarity, its electrolyte composition, performance and glycemicprofile. It is safe for pregnant women.
